 Abdul Hakim, born and brought up in the UAE, while growing up spent a lot of time exploring new recipes and developing new dishes in his kitchen at home. His passion for cooking then went from trying recipes at home, to marinating meats for BBQs with family and friends. A few years later, The Meating Room was launched, with unique and differentiating BBQ grills on the menu along with delicious mouth-watering Indian curries.  In the 1st year of opening itself, the restaurant gained a lot of popularity and built a strong loyal customer base through word of mouth and excellent reviews. The restaurant won the award for Zomato’s Best Newly Opened Restaurant followed by several nominations for awards through the years. The restaurant was recently featured in a video created by Dubai Tourism as they were recommended by a highly renowned chef as his favourite restaurant. The Meating Room is famous to-date for having the best Lambchops in Dubai!
